About ASDC

Supporting families since 1967.

Our mission

American Society for Deaf Children
The American Society for Deaf Children is committed to empowering all families with deaf and hard-of-hearing children and youth by embracing full language and communication access in inclusive environments through mentoring, advocacy, resources, and collaborative networks.

What we believe

  • Deafness is not a disability, but language rights are.
  • Every Deaf child should be able to learn sign language from the very start.
  • Families thrive when they're connected to each other and to the Deaf community.

Leadership, team and impact

Note: Team bios, board members and impact figures will be added once ASDC confirms current information.
